I always do the paragraph thingy too. I noticed early on, the tedium of unbroken type -- long posts -- on a forum. I learned early on that more breaks, whether grammatically necessary or not, worked toward better communication. I will rarely read a screen-long paragraph -- it's too hard on the eyes.
