Hello, folks! Welcome back, Caitrin & Seed! Dave, I went and found the GIF for "The Black Bear." It rules! Piper, fill the bag! Incidentally, I brought my new pipe chanter (tire of hearing it yet?) and guess what I can play? Paddy Doyle's Boots! When the voices go "YA!" I let loose this wild squeal from the chanter. Great fun! Elle, "The Pawky Duke" is a song I wrote--actually a poem I set to music. The lyrics are about a pawky (crafty) duke, who (get this) EATS usqabae (whisky) and DRINKS haggis, gives shoddily-made kilts to "Sassenach loons" (in this case, dorky English tourists) and does other naughty things. It's written in heavy Scots Highland dialect, and it's great fun to sing all those fun dialectical phrases, and most people will have no idea what you're saying! My music is somewhat strange, like a blues-rock-funk folksong. Got that? And please, don't stop playing the banjo! :{>
