Well Art, although I've never stolen any songs, I have used pseudonyms at times to save myself from the embarrassment of being identified while playing truly AWFUL musical engagements.(gotta bring some folk music into this thread)

I was "Kent St.Clair" while playing the Howard Johnson's in St. Petersburg Fla.
"Les Richards" during a tour as bass player with a fucking awful duo, a husband and wife team who played guitar and COCTAIL DRUM...He wore a Davey Crockett fringed outfit and she STRIPPED!! at the end of every set! If anyone thinks I'm making this up, you shouda been in Northern Ontario during the seventies. Damn rent had to be payed!
