Thread Name: Pseudonyms
Subject: RE: Pseudonyms
Gee, Art - in one of his books, Pete Seeger said the Weavers used "Paul Campbell" as a pseudonym to represent the whole group, when they had written a song together. What songs shouldn't they have claimed as their own? How was their practice any different from the other folk artists of the era, who claimed copyrights for anything and everything?

P.S. I don't know if I want to admit to knowing anybody who used "Kent St. Clair" as a stage name. A bit pretentious, one might say....
