Gnu -- 4 boxed sets (14 tapes) of the Sharpe's PBS series. Presented in a battered French knapsack, which was thrown in when I scored these tapes (and more !) at a yardsale earlier this summer.

I do most of my gift shopping (and most other shopping) at yardsales -- stuff to enhance our lifestyle without spending much money, stuff to resell, cool stuff to give to friends and family without breaking the bank.

We both had pretty full days yesterday, so he found the knapsack (and another card) on his chair this morning after he relinquished his spot at the computer.

Gotta go insulate the cat and feed Tom his scrambled eggs and cream cheese. We've got a busy day (and weekend) ahead shovelling out the house in anticipation of fore and aft Getaway stayovers.
