Once in a while, I feel truly justified for all the time I've spent surfing the Internet. Such as when I recently received Sid Selvidge's CD, A Little Bit of Rain, which I ordered after reading some reviews at Amazon.com.

The instant I heard Selvidge's wonderful voice, I knew I'd hit paydirt, and it only got better the more I listened. Where the hell have *I* been? Why is this artist not better known?

One reviewer commented that artists such as Selvidge can get by just releasing one CD every few years. Someone needs to get Selvidge in the studio to document more of this man's artistry for posterity.
