Glad you brought that up, Don. When I told her my old fiddle, which had not been played in a long time, sounded kinda flat and shrill, she said the local music store, which she's been going to since the 60's, told her to cure that by putting it next to stereo, radio, or other instruments being played, etc. as the wood needed the vibrations to stay in shape. Makes sense to me.
