Playing and singing were my favorite times of the weekend! With Bobert and the Pedestrians, With Amos, With Roger, With Lej, With Scarpi, With Dani, With Janie with....

Amos may have already laid claim to the title of musical slut but I feel that I'm on the same street corner, or door step as it were.

The only person I really missed getting Down and Dirty with the Blues with was MAX! And we made up for that in spades on Monday Night.

My favorite snapshots were:

Seeing Holly trying to be nonchalont and quiet as a mouse in order to avoid notice as the Sunday night jam got more "interesting" (even before Gladiator). Seeing Elena mothering Dani (Mother Goose). What sweethearts they are.

The Ducks (all of them), Dueling banjos on picolo banjo and kazoo - solo. Helping carry the twins back for bed on Saturday Night. Madeline, would be perfect for a starriing role in the Lion, the Witch, and The Wardrobe.

Seeing Janie become a real first class performer, and Linda Goodman out under the Sun during the day, and Up on Stage Saturday and Sunday Nights. What have we let loose upon an unsuspecting world! Be afraid, be very afraid :-)

Counting the tears in folks eyes after George's (El Grecko) song on Sunday night. One of the highest compliments I have ever seen any audience give a performer at any Getaway. To say he reached out to the inner feelings in all of us is an understatement of gross injustice. It was ..... Magic.

My only regrets were not putting faces with names until too late. Sorcha was there. Severn is Severn. Rumanci is Rumanci. Bat Godess and Curmudgeon are Bat Godess and Gurmudgeon. The list goes on and on.

Too tired
