Thread Name: Lyr Req: The Galway Rover: Confusing lyrics
Subject: Lyr Req: The Galway Rover: Confusing lyrics
The first two lines of the last verse of this Pete St. John song reads:

The Curlew is calling, a shy form(Fawn)is prancing,

The ferns on them bulbing by the thousand gentle eyes.

Is this correct? If so can anyone explain what it means.

Thanks
