Wakana and I got home on Friday after 19 hours on planes from the east coast. We are now seriously jet lagged and spend a lot of time sleeping.

Be that as it may be the Getaway was one hell of a way to end a three month trip. We arrived under a cloud, not quite fighting but not happy with each other. we left with goofy grins and happiness in our hearts. Wakana wants to go back again and I hope to as well. The idiot's mistake on Saturday afternoon is almost forgotten and the long talk with Rita made it all well.

I have read through half of the posts so far on this thread. I met so many of you that I have only previously known through the Mudcat pages. It was a nice sensation to read a person's name, then the post, picturing him/her as though s/he was talking directly in front of me. I could see the person, sitting at the keyboard and remember the twinkle of the eyes or the faint grin or the wrinkled nose as s/he typed. Thanks to all who made it so special.
