Yes, we are!! That said, it's also true that my participation in "show biz" was always as minimal as I could manage to make it---and I loved the "show"---the music. My job, as I saw it, was to RESIST the aspects of S.B. that I found abhorent. I hated the business aspects of what I did. As a result, the monetary rewards were less than what others accrued -- but the musical, aesthetic and social rewards were maximized for me from my point of view. As Bill Smith, Chicago king of the beatniks used to say, "We were very satisfied with the cheap seats at the concerts--and we got to hear all the music anyway."
