AndyG - Thanks for the Harry Rag song and the info on Rizla+ - you set me off surfing and I found the Rizla website. Apparently, Pierre Lacroix started selling paper in 1532 and they introduced rice ("riz" in French) paper in 1865.

I also found a page on Cockney rhyming slang and according to them Harry Wragg was a jockey famous enough to become the rhyming slang for "fag" [US readers - in UK English fag merely means cigarette]
