Subject: RE: Lyr Req: My God He Is a Rock
I realize this thread is several years old but I can't resist commenting on Judy Cook.

Last winter a musician friend brought a couple of people along to our Friday night music. It was a husband and wife duo and they were great. Much more polished than we - and knew songs from beginning to end that we had never heard, and good, clear strong voices. They both looked familiar to me but I had no clue to that notion. They sang 'My God, He is a Rock', as well as several others before I caught on that they were from the Maryland/Virginia area, and on impulse I asked, Are you members of the FSGW? Surprised, they responded, Yes! I said, Did you go to the Getaway in 2004?

It was Judy and Dennis. I hadn't talked with either of them at the Getaway but I remembered them- I even remembered where they had sat at one of the concerts - you don't meet a beard like Dennis's every day!

Anyway I had a great time with them and the next evening we had another jam at my own home just a couple of houses away, and then they went to a 'slow jam' gathering the next day. Everybody enjoyed them
