BTW, haven't read the whole thread, but the convict song refered to earlier by Peter Bellamy was "I once lived in service" - great song - (from the folk opera, The Transports), but I can never remember the first few verses since they're a long list of housework chores and I'm not too hot on housework meself ;-) F
