Thread Name: from Wolfdog - help me learn about Mudcat
Subject: RE: from Wolfdog - help me learn about Mudcat
Wolfdog, i am glad you found us, and i apologize
for those who do not have good manners, and are
distracting from the original questions.

We (obviously) do not all get along with each other
here, and some do not give direct answers to questions.
I hope you will be able to find some answers to your
questions and that you will continue to come to the
Mudcat and have good experiences here.

Most of the people here found their way here origianlly
when they were searching for lyrics on the web, i believe.
The Digital Tradition data base is an incredible resource,
where i often have found the words to songs that i sing.

When you type a reply to a thread, it automatically goes
to the top of the list and if you want to see a message
that was sent in several days ago (or months, or years)
you can set the filter so that it opens up messages from
the past.

Well, anyway, do not let the messages confuse you. Sometimes
people jsut write the first thing they think of and do not
stop to wonder how it sounds or how it will make others feel.

Sometimes people say things just to be gross, or get a reaction
from other people. We call these people trolls, when there is
a message on here that does not make sense, or says something
hurtful or un-necessary, the best thing to do is ignore it,
instead of responding, getting mad or continuing to escalate the
topic.

i hope you find the mudcat to be a place where you like to
come and I look forward to seeing you here in the future.

If you want to find out more about the people here, you
can look at their profiles, and you can add information
such as pictures, and other stuff in the members information
area.
