I dont fully understand the second verse of Hallelujah. The first half is clearly about David's erotic peeping Tom bit with Bathsheba, but then it goes on to haircutting which sounds more Samson and Delilah. Or did Bathsheba cut off David's hair, as well?
    That aside, a stunning song. As a matter of interest, hilda fish, are you thinking of Leonard Cohen or Jeff Buckley in this context?
