Oh, the recordings are splendid! I love them! Well, I love the one I've listened to so far. KT, it is Disk #3, and starts with your concert. Oh, it is lovely music.

The incredible thing from my point of view is that, except for the concerts, I missed every single workshop and mini that Ebbie recorded, either because it was too far to walk, I had a conflict, or I had to rest at that hour. Every year we set up all these sessions, and they all look so appealing. Well, if we didn't think they were good, we wouldn't schedule them, would we? So it is painful to miss so many things, as you all know.

Somehow Ebbie managed to give me the experience of the "rest of the Getaway," the parts I really wanted to see but missed for one reason or another. Not all of it, of course! We needed an Ebbie clone or two :-)

But I was on cloud 9 yesterday hearing all that grand music. Thank you, Ebbie. For all your work, and your generous sharing.

I'm going to add a couple comments to the set lists threads if I can locate them. I believe Barry Finn sang "Working on a Building" in the Rousing Gospel. Hunter Jones led "Somebody Touched Me." He and his wife Peggy have been mainstays of the monthly FSGW Gospel Sing for many years, and Hunter has co-led the Getaway Gospel workshop in the past.

It feels like Christmas morning, Ebbie, with a lot more presents still to be unwrapped. (9 CD's! Wow. Treasure trove.)
