I was going to say that kippers and plastic on the exhaust can't be removed easily and it lasts a bit. Plastic (the right kind) can be very annoying because you may not clock the cause and worry about engine trouble..............

a potato rammed into the exhast can cause the engine to fail to start - if it does pop out it makes a noise but it only lasts a few hours -
