I was a big fan of Fritz and the Jugband back in the 60's . Saw them several times here in Southern California.   Several years later though a mutual friend who was sharing a house in Hollywood with Fritz ,I met Fritz. He was such a wonderful caring person. I had the pleasure of attending a show at the Golden Bear in Huntington Beach to see Geoff Muldar escorted by Fritz, my friend, and Fritz's brother.

A few years ago I was fortunate enough to see Fritz and Geoff at McCabes in Santa Monica. My friend and I spend some time chatting with Fritz after the show and even got our picture taken with him. He and Geoff put on quite a show.   

He will be greatly missed.
