i am the bookmobile librarian!
I drive a few thousand books
videos and tapes to rural areas
with small populations and no
library...but the rolling one!

I am taking a class at the local
community college in Television
production and recently inter-
viewed a couple of members of the
library board of directors and
they are working on finding funding
for the various programs run by our
library: genealogy research, inter-
net access, literacy out reach,
inter-library loans, books on tape
for visually impaired and anyone
who wants to listen to a book as
they travel or at home, the friends
of the library who conduct book sales
as fund raisers, also the library
is used as a meeting place for
organizations, etc.

i think rapaire means that there are
many here who can speak from the point
of view of a librarian...hence: can of
worms.
