I was trying to discern what the sailors on those three ships were singing. I think it was "Haul the Decks", but I can't be sure.I'll listen again...

Dec 10) No chocolate yet here either, but today I found a nut confection in the shape of Christ. So THIS is a Pecan Divinity!
All those years while driving through the American South, we never stopped at a Stuckey's, which by their signs out front, seemed to be the chapel of choice where they went to worship these things. I was also told they spoke Pecan-ese and all the waitresses were named Praline. I don't see any Stuckey's any more, but there was a time before the Interstates were built that they were all over the likes of US Rte.1 and 301.

"Pray-Le-e-e-en! Honey is that Yoo-oo-oo?" Definately sounds like one of Chuck Berry's girlfriends of uncertain age.

Who says no pecan before Christmas!
