On the ulcer front, a friend who has suffered from them for years was cured by taking massive doses of antibiotics, as per her doctor's instructions. They seem to think that most ulcers are bacterialogical in origin and can be treated this way.
Anway the sooner you get back on solids the sooner you can stoke up a bit of pressure in the nether regions.
