I have made things in the past, mostly sewing because that's what I do best. Haven't made any this year. 6 months ago I made Young James Next Door a quilt to say "thank you" for helping his parents feed our cats when we have been away. Young James is 5 years old and loves his quilt, and so does his baby sister.

To say nothing of how many other qults I have made for baby gifts!
