I have BPV, I can't sit in the dentists chair whilst he tilts it back, although I'm fine in planes. I had several attacks of it close together, related to a blood pressure problem, changes in pressure in the brain, which would be relieved by anti inflammatories. Get your doctor to test you out properly. If s/he doesn't co-operate, get a parent or someone to insist on a referral to the Ear/Nose/Throat dept.
