The greatest of them have gone through that, Sir Lawrence Olivia had a problem with giggling when his nerves were shot. Judy Garland, Barbara Striesand..the list is endless. I well remember when I first started, and for years afterwards, I was as nervous as a Christian Scientist with a severed artery. Being nervous has a good side, it makes you want to do your best. However, if you are like the "deer in the headlights" only time and performing with plenty of positive reinforcement will cure that.
