Weather has never stopped us Minnesota hardy rustic folk from being outside on a December 31st. We built a hot roaring fire, got out the eggs and tamborines, drums and harmonicas, clackers and bells and proceeded to bring in the new year with strange, lurid, madeup melodies mostly about sex.
We were told we could be heard from town but that could have been a myth.
