Thread Name: Lyr Req: You're the One That I Want (John Farrar)
Subject: RE: Lyr Req: You're the One That I Want (John Farrar)
One of the JoeClones,

I don't think that the original requester was looking for the song from Grease, so by re-naming the thread to the name of the song from Grease the original poster won't be able to find the thread again. Usually if it is a guest they don't necessarily come back within a couple of days. Sometimes it might be at least a week and maybe a few weeks or more.

It is only a week today since the guest started the thread.

It would be more useful as a thread title in the future if it reflected the song that the guest was looking for, but it won't matter much in the future anyway, at Mudcat, because neither song is folk or blues, so it is unlikely that any of the regulars or new Mudcat people looking for songs will search for this one.

I understand the reasoning behind renaming threads to reflect the name of the song requested but not when the original requester has not returned to see the answer and will be unable to find the thread again because the title is totally changed.

Just my opinion,
Helen
