Bring back manufacturing industries from 'offshore' ... this will provide jobs for the existing telemarketers ... it would provide a better paying and less demeaning position of employment for them. Then we wouldn't have to be bothered by annoying phone calls. Otherwise telemarking provides the only ways and means for these people (aside from Walmarts and the big box stores) to scratch out a living.
