I'm sad to report the death this morning of the grand singer and all-round fine lady Pat Elliott, of the famous UK North-Eastern family The Elliotts of Birtley. Pat fought hard against a number of illnesses including cancer without ever losing her feisty spirit and sense of humour, but had to succumb eventually.   She will be sadly missed. Burl
