If your number is on the do-not-call list and you receive annoying calls from companies with whom you are currently doing business (which means it's legal for them to call you) just tell them that if they continue to call you won't do business with them anymore. They dolisten. I was receiving weekly calls from a bank with whom I have a credit card trying to sell me "additional wervices". I told them that if they continued to bother me I would transfer the account balance to another card and tear their card up. I've not heard from them in a year.
