I have one version by Leadbelly, recorded for the Smithsonian. All I can understand from the intro are the words "Rock Island Line....People talking....Depot agent.......Switchboard.

Then he starts with " I got Sheep, I got hogs etc". The spoken intro is definitely not as long as Donegan's. I will listen some more but with his drawl it will be difficult to make out all the words.
