Ponder this:

Most of us have things on the ends of our hands that are usually called "fingers". So exactly how does one fing? If cookers are meant for cooking and openers are meant for opening then fingers must be meant for finging. Have you ever finged? (Or is it fang?) If so, please advise how it's done. I get the distinct impression I've been missing out on something for many years.
