Dearest kat,

I know this has been a terrible thing to have happen to you and to all of us here in the Mudcat community. Your identity has not been the only one stolen this evening. But, there is one good thing to come of it. This gives me, and the other folks here, an opportunity to tell you how much we love and respect you. And how much we value you. I count you as one of my dearest friends, because I know that we share many things, the love of music and people being only two of these. I'm glad that, even though it had to be in this type of circumstance, I had a chance to tell the world how much I think of you and of all the decent, loving people here on the Mudcat, and how much I value you and your place in my life.

I've never truly understood the meaning of the saying 'the meek shall inherit the earth,' until this evening. I see now that what is meant by 'meek' is 'loving', and I know that the truly 'loving' people will always be stronger than than their opposites.

I'm with you, dear kat, and always will be.
