As you may already know the RUNSWICK BAY "DO" is not far off, just 7 weeks to go to one of the best nights in folk music.

To be held at Milnsbridge Socialist Club, Bankwell Road, Milnsbridge, Huddersfield HD3 on SATURDAY 11th March 2006 from 8.00pm, a free and easy session, sing or play from where you sit and over the years we've been graced with some wonderful nights and wonderful singers. I'm going to make the misjudgement of naming some and hope that I don't upset those I miss. Musicians have included Peter Bond, Copper Kettle, Duncan McFarlane, Jim McDonald, Malcom Moger (stunning Guitar/Banjo from Leek)and many many others, hopefully this year it will include Mick McGarry from the legendary Punch the Horse and Flamenco Ted.

As well as singing and playing we also have a raffle, collection and supper, for which a small charge of £1.50 is levied (although you can donate more!) and all funds go to the Rescue Boat which as many of you will know is not sponsored by the RNLI. (Registered Charity 1014544)

If you intend to join us I would be very grateful if you could let us know so we know how many to cater for, how much extra beer to buy in and if we will require extra bar staff to ensure you all get served quickly.

The past two years have been almost full to capacity although we can always squeeze one more in, so drop us a line and let us know if you are coming
