I have to leave for work, so this will be short. Janette Carter, daughter of A.P. and Sarah and the last surviving child of the original Carter Family passed away at 89 years. Apparentlly there were a lot of things wrong, including Parkinsons Disease.

She did a lot to keep the music going and was a great singer herself.
She'll be missed.
