Fat balls would be bloody bliss compared to the problem I'm having at the moment. We've just aquired a Jack Russell pup that has taken a liking to cat-crap and sheep turds and seeks them out at every opportunity. They give him the shits and make his breath rank, but he loves 'em, revolting little sod that he is.
The cats, however, seem content with what nature intended, bringing back daily batches of mutilated shrews, voles, mice, rats, moles, rabbits and tweetie birds. The best was a couple of weeks back when one brought in a whole widgeon. Needless to say, that was hastily removed from the cat's clutches, pucked and drawn and popped in the freezer. And, boy, was she pissed off (The cat, not the widgeon, I hasten to add. The widgeon was past caring)!
