Yeah, I knew about it, but never got down there; my usual haunts were closer to Hartford/SimsburyNorthhampton (although I occasionally got down to Fairfield U, NHU, or such for some of the Celtic acts). Did get to Falcon Ridge on occasion.

When I was living in Derby, didn't see much music at all; by that time I was on the road almost constantly, and had lost touch with the local music scene.

Sorry to hear coffee houses have tapered off; but there's still lots of good stuff out there; Berkeley's Freight and Salvage is top-notch, and the SF music scence brings in the bigger names too. I've been back to Northhampton visiting, and IC that the Iron Horse is still going (although I hear that Jordy's been out of it for a while).
