I had to take my birth certificate to our local town hall,to prove that I exist.This is here in France,by the way,and I'm from London.The woman looked at it,for a good few seconds then looked up and said,"This is in English!"I was about to ask which language she was expecting to find on an English birth certificate,when she added....."And it's more than 3months old!"
