Yeah, Bruce, I've been reading, quite cynically, the "corporate owned" media articles over the last several days and here's my take...

They, the corporate media have painted Bush as Rocky Balboa, with his poll rating's on the ropes and his manager yelling at him "Hey, son, yer blowing it..." and the only thing that poor, beaten down Rocky can do is come out in the 15th round with fire in his eyes to save his "presidency"... Thus the "Sate of the Union Address", which ain't nuthin' more than a cross between theater and a high school pep rally that the other teams fans have to participate in...

Yeah, all I have seen is this "Rocky hype" to get folks to watch...

But what we've seen with Bush is that, sure, he can give a decent speech and he can promise lots of stuff but that hasn't translated into much of anything excpet Iraq-mire, Katrina-Gate, Medicaid_gate, Snitch-Gate, Gate, Gate and more Gates...

But the corporate handler think that if they can just get the American people to watch one more hour of King George the Proclaimer puffin' out his chest lieing thru his teeth then all will turn around...

And, make no bones about it, King George the Proclaimer can lie with the best of 'um... Slick Willie ain't got nuthin' on this boy, no sir...

I'll watch it, though, because I don't think I've missed to many of these "performances" in my life.... I'll also get a notepad and try to get a count on how many lies he tells... Last year was kinda a slow one coming off the election... Maybe 20 outright lies with another 20 half lies... I expect he'll be much more active on that front tomorrow night... Maybe 35 and 35??? Or better...
