I don't like it when I see any group of people reduced to a style of talk that dumbs them down severely.
I saw that happen to white "hippy" kids in the late 60's and early 70's. I see it happening with both white and black youngsters now.
I also see, thankfully, plenty of young people who don't fall into those TV-created stereotypes, and can express themselves in more than a handful of dumb catch phrases and "cool" sayings.
