You don't spend 3 years on the cardboard and styrofoam set of an imaginary starship bridge pretending to launch "photon torpedoes" and fire "phasers" at Klingons and Romulans without learning how to plan each move carefully, mister. You don't act opposite prima donnas like De Forest Kelly and Leonard Nimoy without gaining some strategic sense of timing. No indeedy. Every commercial I have ever done has fit seamlessly into the tapestry of my artistic life, and I like to think that in some small way I have touched a few hearts out there and tickled a few ribs by stretching the boundaries of performance art where others dared not go.
