Ah, yes, the Mudcat.

The DT and the people who post to the forum are a cornucopia of information. So much so, I am surprised when an answer is not forthcoming to a question posted. I am amazed, could it truly be no one knows? But no, someone allmost always comes through. 'Frinstance, the answer to the Jeopardy Green Grow the Lilacs question just this morning.

I have learned more about the histories and personalities of folk musicians I admire.

I have gained a deeper understanding of musical theory.

I have learned some techniques I can use in performance.

I have found that there are many people with interests similar to mine who have the same questions about the music and what they do with the music.

I feel I have developed some friendships and have met many wonderful people.

Long live the Mudcat.
