There are many versions of "Over The Hills And Far Away" which dates back to Queen Anne but recently used by John Tams on the series Sharpe's Rifles; it's a great song and there are a couple of American versions listed on the DT search lyrics. It would help if you were to let us know the theme of the black powder event. Locally we have a club that has the Mountain Men theme and some French English re-enactment groups, so there are several songs in French and English they use...
