Well up in these parts I have both.
Skunks and Porcupine.
Poor Pup has been sprayed by a Skunk once. Took a lot of work to get the smell off. Then he tried to play with a Porcupine once.
Got him the Mouth. Agonized Dog is the right way to describe it. It took a while to get all the quills out. Days.
Needless to say he avoids both now!
That makes life a lot less painful for him and a bit easier for both Him and I:)
The Cats...they just seem to know it ain't a good idea to get too close to either creature.
Nothing like opening your door to check the Stars at Midnight and being greeted by the pungent odor of a Skunk! Kind of puts a downer on your effort to view the Night sky!
