The Spitfire is also my hero - best design, best innovation, best plane. This single genius of design won the battle of the skies in the 2nd World War and defended our precious isle. How soon we forget. Johnny is right to remind us that we owe so much to so few. I know it's nowt to do with Holmfirth Festival of Folk but - bless !
