Very difficult to assess from info available what to expect from this.
Could be that this family are complete fantasists or are being wilfully represented in the belief that this "makes good Television"
& this ,in turn, somehow makes it ok.

BTW How is "Medieval" defined in the U.S.?
I noticed the reference to "Vikings" (more properly Danes or Norsemen) who actually belong to the Dark Ages albeit the very tail end of that period.
Also I remember looking at Wallpapers on Deviant Art one time & under the category heading of "Medieval" they had a picture of a steam train(!)
