"GUEST Ron Davies. So you believe that in 'private' conversation, any one person who is abused should go tell another. It happens in peoples personal and business lives. We all choose how to react to abuse but I don't believe we should go crying to others unless there is a law being broken or we are too weak ourselves and need to whinge to someone to get protection or help. If you decide as a result of this to PM me with some abuse...go ahead but I would would certainly not stoop to the level of divulging your private insults to me.
It is part of the 'Martin Gibson' character to be insulting. If you don't like it..."Get over it or get out of the kitchen" I say.

What Martin seems to be crying about is Martin's supposed expectation of privacy.

If one sends, profane and insulting message to another, they have no expectation that these be kept in confidence. Certianly if you got a piece of Spam in an email and posted it here as a warning to avoid the offending business. Many would take that as a service. That you do not see it as a service to be warned about an offensive Mudcatter is certainly your you right. But why try to discourage other of that benefit?
