But it was that humane treatment rule (which must have been implemented for a reason) in combination wuth this being such an old film (40 plus years) that made me unsure of what to say to the kids. I can't find my copy of the film, but to my recollection the scene is consistent with string being tied to one or both hind legs and yanked from the side, as described above. I need to find it.
