How about developing self and helping others develop -             a win - win situation ?

Sometimes I want to win, sometimes I don't care, sometimes I get pleasure letting some else win if it matters that much to them.

Our western societies are riven by the contradiction between winning and cooperating - a corp. might be trying to win, and also requires the cooperation of any number of people to function. Bit like that horrible quiz, The Weakest Link, where the contradiction is most clearly shown.

You get a related ambivalence in the Olympics between 'the winning' and 'the taking part'.
