A few sets of 'Caledonia' are in Greig-Duncan; much the same story. No obvious way of telling which is the earlier. Probably people will assume that 'Caledonia' must somehow be earlier than 'Canada', but until we have more precise information it's just as likely that it's a modified form of the broadside 'Canada Heigh-ho', or whatever.

Localisation works both ways.
